How Our Roofing Provider Network Works

Who you actually talk to
Many homeowners picture a big call center full of roofers. In practice, though, it is simpler. Indicatesireland Roofing makes the introduction. After that, you speak with an independent local provider, usually an estimator or the person who runs the business. They are the ones who inspect the roof, write the quote and do the work.
What happens on the first conversation
Expect a few plain questions. The provider may ask about the age of the roof, the type of material, what you have noticed and where the house is. Most conversations in our network center on new installs and full replacements.
Then the provider may suggest a visit to look at the roof, attic and ceilings. Availability varies by provider, so Request a callback to check provider availability in your area. Many providers can respond quickly, but schedules differ.
What to ask a contractor
A good question list saves time. Try these:
- Are you licensed and insured where I live? Can I see the papers?
- Will the quote be in writing, with materials and labor spelled out?
- What happens to the old roofing, and who cleans up?
- How do you handle weather delays?
- What warranty comes from the manufacturer, and what comes from you?
- Can you help document damage if I need to talk to my insurer?
Write down the answers. Dated notes become part of your paperwork-ready roof file.
Bring your own records
Photos, past invoices and a short timeline make a visit go faster. They also make it easier to compare two or three estimates side by side.
You are in control
A lot of people think that once they talk to a provider, they have to sign. That is a myth. There is no obligation. You can ask for more detail, take time to compare quotes or say no thanks.
Be cautious with anyone who pushes you to decide on the spot. Costs vary by job, so get a written quote before you agree to anything.
